The birthplace of Marco Polo

Korcula town (3300 pop.) With the port, is a popular resort and very popular tourist destination on the north coast of the island of Korcula. Korcula is one of the most valuable urban conservation reserves on the Croatian coast. East of the harbor there is a small group of islands.
